Live set for electronics, magnets, lights, and voices
As part of the Long Night of Museums, Samuel Schaab presents a site-specific live set together with Kasho Chualan and Pavel Naydenov & The Unknown Choir. In the current exhibition NO RUINS, electronics, magnets, lights, and human voices converge in a new spatial and sonic installation.
Kasho Chualan
is a Kurdish-Canadian pianist, composer, and sound artist based in Vienna. Working with prepared piano, electronics, everyday objects, and other unconventional sound sources, she challenges familiar ways of creating and listening to music. Through this process, she explores how instruments and sounds can be transformed, experienced, and understood in new ways.
Samuel Schaab
works between sculpture, light, sound and performance, taking a site-specific approach that consistently treats the space itself as the central object.
Pavel Naydenov
is a Bulgarian artist, musician, choir director, and social designer based in Vienna. In 2023, he founded the New Choir, an international, transdisciplinary vocal ensemble that approaches singing as a communal, embodied, and spatial practice.
