ephemeral forms of presence
ephemeral forms of presence unfolds as a five-part experimental exhibition. Through performance, it focuses on moments when art is not something to be displayed, but something to be lived. At its core lies the question of what happens when a work resists permanence, when art dissolves as an event — no longer visible, yet still felt: as a shared act of remembering, as a fleeting trace that exists only within the experience itself.
Unlike a conventional exhibition, ephemeral forms of presence creates a dynamic space that changes over time, offering visitors a variety of experiences. They are encouraged to leave behind the passive role so often expected of them in cultural institutions and instead become part of a physical, temporal, and social event.
