Video Works Between Sound and Image

Three artists who work at the interface of sound art and visual art meet in this a joint screening: Hui Ye, Albert Mayr and Andreas Trobollowitsch present selected video works that explore the interplay of image, sound, movement and material. They range from experimental documentaries and performative image-sound experiments to installative compositions in which body, technology and space react to one another.

The screening will feature the new video work Frozen Sounds by Andreas Trobollowitsch, which explores the sonic relationship between cello playing and ice skating.
